frame buffer and ati radeon 9700 pro problem

Does anubody has a working frame buffer with ati radeon 9700 pro? I tried radeon and vesa driver but nothing happened.

I've got it working just fine with the vesa framebuffer driver.

I followed the FrameBuffer HOWTO (in the Documentation section of the forums) exactly. The only thing I needed was the vga and video lines in my grub.conf file.
