I was messing around with my groups trying to make myself part of the games group without logging out and back in, and did the command:
newgrp games (this was so I could play supertux )
However, this didn't help, and apparently removed my normal user from all groups (including wheel). Well, I manage to add myself back to wheel, but now every time I su, I get these warning messages:
rake@localhost ~ $ su
Password:
configuration error - unknown item 'FAILLOG_ENAB' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'LASTLOG_ENAB' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'MOTD_FILE' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'FTMP_FILE' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'ENV_ROOTPATH' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'PASS_MIN_LEN' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'CHFN_AUTH' (notify administrator)
localhost rake #
Anyone know how to fix this? _________________ The things you own end up owning you. |
