./home/
./home/ .keep
./sys/
/sys/ .keep
tar:error delayed from previous errors

Quote: | With Some bz2-files the md5sum check fails
bzip2 version 1.0.2 worked with huffman codes with a length of up to 20 bits. Unfortunately the Author of bzip2, Julian Seward, changed this in the new version 1.0.3 - it uses only a maximum length of 17 bits now. This breaks the functionality of some - not all - dtu-files because when using bzip2-1.0.3 to recompress after patching that tar-file to get the original file the result may be different. Actually it is different whenever bzip2-1.0.2 used any huffman codes with a length >17 bits. The solution to this problem is to install bzip2-1.0.3 as "bzip2" and a statically linked bzip2-1.0.2 as "bzip2_old" - the dtu files created contain a flag that tells your delta which version to use to create you destination-archive. If you use gentoo, just updating deltup to version 0.4.2-r1 will solve this problem and install that statically linked old version of bzip2 for you. |
