Hello I'm a n00bie to gentoo. Did my first build last night :). Well every time I go to install either Gaim or Xmms I always get this error :

So I thought maybe I need qt so I ran emerge qt and it gave me 4. something and still no work. Help?

Jusy like the error message said you have both immqt and immqt-bc use flags set. You should either have one of none at all. immqt is binary incompatible and immqt-bc is binary compatible, not sure what that means but I suggest you just remove the both since it worked for me.

How would I go by removing them?

Delete either or both from the section USE="..." in /etc/make.conf. You must have put them there and since you don't really know what they are and where they are, I recommend you read some portage documentation, in this case especially the part on USE flags:
