well it looks like there is no 2006 universal install cd, am i right?
what happened to gentoo and it being about choices?
now the only choice a have is to use the crappy gentoo installer (really!)
Is there anyway to do a manual install with this new inataller cd?
what happened to the stages being on the cd?
I would prefer to do it the old fasion way. The live installer reminds me of
windows all over again. (yuck!)
sorry for wining but please bring back the universal install cd for us serious Gentoo
users. |

You don't have to use GUI if you don't want to. It is totally possible to install in console. |

You can also install Gentoo from any live cd, doesn't matter what distro. _________________ Research before taking any advice from me. I'm still coming to grips with this myself. |
