hello
i get this error when ever i type in the username in a terminal and before i type the password, but after that i can use the system like noting happend.
what are this error messages and how can i remove them?
configuration error - unknown item 'FAILLOG_ENAB' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'LASTLOG_ENAB' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'MOTD_FILE' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'FTMP_FILE' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'ENV_ROOTPATH' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'PASS_MIN_LEN' (notify administrator)
configuration error - unknown item 'CHFN_AUTH' (notify administrator)
and one otherthing how can i remove a module from loading?

1. Update your configuration files using etc-update
2. If still have problems, please use the forums search, since that problem was already discussed multiple times.

A module gets loaded at start up if it is contained in "/etc/modules.auoload.d/kernel-<VERSION>" or automatically when needed. For the first case you could simply remove the correspondent entry of that file, for the second you can't do anything (except deleting or renaming the module) since it is required by an application.
