hey all,
in the last two gentoo boxes I have made, emerge php broke on attempt.
I thought maybe it was just me but a friend of mine also had the same issue.

I went in and manually added it, as did he, but is there a fix or is anyone aware of it.

thanks

The exact error message would help. You could also try USE="-java".

USE="-java"
that will work as it is looking for the blackdown jdk.

I was wondering about that as I never stated to use java anywhere, I try not to use anything java and don't program in it.

thanks

USE="-java" worked fine for me, with qt 2.x and 3.x installed. Thanks whoever figured out java was the problem!

Cheers,
Alex.
