DEPEND & emerge

After finding out leafnode depends on xinetd, I looked at the docs for the DEPEND keyword. It appears there doesn't seem to be a way to handle things such that leafnode can depend on either xinetd or netkit-base (inetd), and build accordingly. One of my boxes doesn't use xinetd, the other box uses xinetd.

It'd be nice if emerge could select the right dependency if that particular dependency is installed.
