Salve a tutti...
dato che il livecd mi fa già un ottimo riconoscimento delle periferiche del mio pc...perchè il menuconfig devo configurarlo da zero...o quasi..? c'è un modo x ottenere un menuconfig già settato in funzione del dmesg e modprobe generato dal livecd?
modprobe -c | menuconfig ??
dmesg | menuconfig ??
Inoltre, le configurazioni impostate dal livecd come eth0, framebuffer, ecc... devo impostarle nuovamente. Per non risettare tutto è sufficiente copiare tutta la /etc/ del livecd nella /etc/ dell'hard disk?

Potresti essere interessato in 'genkernel' che trovi in portage. È uno script che automatizza l'installazione del kernel. Puoi dare un'occhiata a questa thread per ulteriori informazioni.
