I have look around for almost 30 mirrors site but i can't find | Code: | | releases/sparc/2006.0/sparc32/installcd |
can some one please tell me where can I find the install-sparc32-minimal-2006.0.iso

When you install a regular distribution (including GENTOO), you often end up installing a lot of programs that you would probably never use. They're just sitting there taking up (precious) disk space.

Yes thats the 64bit CD allright - and its everywhere !!! but the 32bit one isnt !!!
Some of us are trying to make use of our old 32bit Sun boxes (Sparcstations etc).
I am currently installing one using the 2004.1 Sparc32 minimal cd, the latest stage 3 file with the latest portage snapshot and using the sparc/sparc32/2006.1/2.4 profile - its going well so far.
Just remember that the live CD is only to get the box going so it does not matter too much if its old !

I read the post again - he was asking for the 64bit one - sorry guys..

There is no 2006.0 version of the installation disk for the sparc32 platform (I ran into that same conundrum with my Sparc5). You have to go back to 2004.1 to get a sparc(32) livecd. Once you've booted off of that, you can download the 2006.0 stage3 tarball and install from there.
