Is it EVER going to happen? Seems kind of old school that it emulates a NT4 domain, and not a 2k domain.... |

get samba 3 (it is still in development, but since you are so hungry about w2k support....)

Thanks, I will check it out.
The reason I want w2k support is so I don't have to change the registry on EVERY winxp machine that I want on a samba domain controller.
EDIT: I am at work so I can't check, but is samba3 in the portage tree? |

Thanks, I will check it out.

with the new samba, you do not need to twak the registry any more.
samba3 is not in portage, but you are wellcome to write a ebuild for it
