I followed the directions in the desktop guide, at least I think I did. I looked all over this forum but couldn't find this. I have read that this is error occurs when there is no config.php. There is, however. Here is the error I get when going to https://mydomain/squirrelmail
Code:

Warning: main(../config/config.php) [function.main]: failed to create stream: No such file or directory in /home/httpd/htdocs/squirrelmail/src/login.php on line 61

Fatal error: main() [function.main]: Failed opening required '../config/config.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /home/httpd/htdocs/squirrelmail/src/login.php on line 61

I ran the configuration thing and there is a config.php. I looked at the permissions. Nothing worked when I went to a different folder, but in /home/httpd/htdocs, the default apache page works. I also ran the test.php example code in the desktop guide and that worked. Is there anything I am missing?

Thanks

Well, I also noticed that index.php no longer automatically loads. If I go directly to login.php, the error comes up, but index.php doesn't automatically forward me. I have php correctly if this came up with php info correct?
Code:
echo "<? phpinfo(); ?>" > /home/httpd/htdocs/test.php

I have also tried the new squirrelmail downloaded from their website, still no go...

Have you checked the permissions on the config.php file and made sure that it is accessible by the user Apache is running as? Also, have you run the configuration script included with SquirrelMail?

Interesting... works now.. I got apache to work and ssl and php and it now works. Seems when I compiled php without java for it to work with the old jdk squirrelmail didn't work. After getting it all reinstalled and installing full php with java support it now works.
