 Ciao a tutti!
Sono nuovo del mondo Gentoo, e mi sto avviando verso l'installazione.
Ho fatto il boot dal live cd e ho configurato la scheda di rete, tutto ok, la scheda pinga l'altro pc (192.168.0.2) con installata la MDK 9.0. Dopo aver fatto questo metto i dns del provider in /etc/resolv.conf.
Ora provo a pingare un sito a caso o i dns del mio provider, ma con mia grande sorpresa mi dice che la rete non é raggiungibile. Aggiungo che su Mandrake 9.0 riesco a navigare anche da questo pc. Infatti nel pc che esce in internet 192.168.0.2 ho messo il seguente file nat sotto /etc/ppp :
echo "1" > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
modprobe ip_tables
modprobe ip_conntrack
modprobe iptable_nat
modprobe ipt_MASQUERADE
iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -d ! 192.168.0.0/24 -j MASQUERADE
e poi ho aggiunto il percorso del file ( /etc/ppp/nat ) in /etc/ppp/ip-up prima dell'exit 0
COme già detto su MDK 9.0 riesco ad andare in internet dal pc sul quale sto installando la gentoo.
Cos'é che che posso fare per andare in internet con la gentoo che sto installando??

No, hai fatto l'errore classico che fanno TUTTI quelli che si avvicinano alle reti...

Almeno una volta sarai impazzito a causa di default router mancato / errante.
