Hi,
Been having a problem with my NIC, a Siemens SS1012 card listed as supported officially by pcmcia-cs under the tulip_cb driver. The LiveCD doesn't automatically detect it initially, which I guess is OK, and the command 'modprobe tulip_cb' completes successfully, as confirmed by lsmod. Trouble is it doesn't create an eth0 interface, so my configuration is stuck here. Where do I go? Can I create an eth0 manually?
Thanks for helping. |

I believe that it only shows interfaces that are "up".
You can show all interfaces by typing:
Try just typing "ifconfig eth0 up" and see what happens. |
