What happens to posts that are spammed?

There was a long thread in the gamers section on warcraft III that was spammed last night and this morning it is gone and I can not find it. What happened to it?

spam posts get moved to the dustbin or, in the case of mass spams across multiple forums, we'll move one spam to the dustbin and delete the others.

I could not find the thread in the dustbin this is why I asked. I guess the thread was deleted which is unfortunate because it had a lot of good information in it.

sure you're not looking for this thread? We cleverly hid that one in the Gamers & Players forum. We like to mess with people like that.

Thanks, its back now for some reason. An hour ago it did in not show up in my posts list or the gamers section.
