Hi... I don't know if this is the right forum but because of the hardware I guess I should send it right here.
I wanna make a lab with 12 SunRay's 1 and an Intel server (I don't have budget for Ultrasparc servers and Sun maintenance). Does anyone knows anything about doing this? I have had a lot of problems because of the propietary protocol that uses Sun. I want to use the SunRay as an XTerminal.... if someone could help me...and if it works I will write a FAQ to publish this kind of project.
Someone told me about gentoo but it's a NOS that I could only install on an UltraSPARC... but I don`t wanna use it. Thank you for your time. |

Hopefully my assumption that the timing is fortunate will not fail me.
I just picked up a SunRay ( for $15 !! ) and was hoping to put it to good use by plugging it
in and forcing it to push around 0's and 1's.
Has there been any luck as far as getting it to boot from a leenux box? What has your experience been?
Please feel free to PM me, as I would gladly help in producing any documentation and continue to work on getting things going.
