i'm stuck at the XFree86 login screen cause my mouse is spazing out, it seems to move whereever it wants to when i move it. it stays mostly around the top of the screen, but some times i can get it to the bottem but then it shoots back up there.
Its a microcrap PS/2 (has a adaptor from USB to PS/2) and its a optical one too.

What desktop/wm are you using? Some have shortcuts to a mini-CLI. Gnome, for instance, uses Alt-F2 to bring up a little window that you can type "xterm" in to get a full shell. |
