!!! phpMyAdmin-2.4.0-php.tar.bz2: message digests do not match!
!!! phpMyAdmin-2.4.0-php.tar.bz2 is corrupt or incomplete.
>>> our recorded digest: dcd26212b311a096e1d02aa3156eec1f
>>> your file's digest: c0de061fbc159951a75f70feff4b126e

I have gotten the exact same result. Downloaded the same file four times now from two different mirrors. Has the dev who takes care of phpmyadmin forgotten to upload the new digest may be? Is it possible to make your own digest? If so how? This has happened a few times now, last time I think it was a couple of days until the digest or file was updated... |

UPDATE: I tried decompressing the file manually and it said it wasn't a valid file. So then I went to www.phpmyadmin.net myself and downloaded the appropriate file. Then emerged the package and it worked perfectly. It must be a corrupt file on the mirrors I tried as the digest passed on the file downloaded from one of the mirrors selected on the phpmyadmin site. |

If you've removed the file locally, download it again, and the digests still don't match, then the bug report will need to include which mirrors are giving you bad files. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

The main mirror I use is http://194.83.57.2/sites/www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/, I did try some others but I didn't record their names I'm afraid. This one I tried 4 times before trying other mirrors. Are you filing a bug report Thulle? I am sure you can add the mirrors you tried too.
Hope that helps anyway. |
