Intel Corporation 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller?

Hi,

I'd like to enable hardware accelleration with this graphics card but i'm not sure how to do this, i compiled the i810 driver into the kernel and it seems to work but when i try to play tribes 2 it says that my accelleration is not configured, where should i first look to solve this?

Could you post your dmesg and lspci perhaps... I have problems with that drivers and chipset on 2.4.22-openmosix kernel and 2.6.14-gentoo-sources...

2.4 is somewath totaly screwed up...
dmesg has enetrys complaining about not finding /dev/agpgart and when i create it X doesn't start without error mesage...
I don't have output of that dmesg in handy right now...

And 2.6 gives a little hope but still no 3D...

Edit: I'm checking if the 3d is enabled by trying the glide screensavers and they all sluggish so i know i'ts not working... is there any software i can manipulate the 3d?
