I've got a softmodded xbox and 2.4.12-r1 gentoo. I've been told that If I went to a 2.4 kernel the fatx support would be better... What/How/Do I want to do this?

2.4.12-r1 is a 2.4 kernel- unless the lack of sleep is getting to me ;) Perhaps they meant 2.6? Hmm- maybe not, googling around a bit, it looks like 2.6 fatx support is more 'experimental'.

My mistake. Make that 2.6.12-r10 kernel, on my computer, not my xbox.

I am asking about my enabling fatx support in my kernel on my computer for my xbox's hdd, not a kernel for the xbox.

EDIT: Clarified stuff...
