I'm using a dell Inspiron 8100 p3 1ghz, 128mb ram with kernel 2.5.68-mm1. it has both a touchpad and a trackstick. The touchpad is no problem, but the trackstick rarely works (once in 8 boots since I compiled 2.5.6. I never had this problem with the 2.4 series. Attached is part of dmesg. Any suggestions would be great.

Also GLX performance is horrible (geoforce2go), I checked xdpyinfo and glx, nv-glx, and nvidia-glx are all there, my xfree86 log has no glx errors. I tried using and not using both apm and acpi and have the same problem with both. I had the glx problem with the 2.4 kernels, and with slackware, so I know it's not a gentoo specific problem. The only errors I have regarding video are the following lines from my kernel log

And, one more thing... does anyone know about dell having broken bioses? I get the following line on bootup
Dell Inspiron with broken BIOS detected. Refusing to enable the local APIC.
Sorry my post was so long, maybe I should have split it into two posts, I'm a little new to this whole forum thing.
