After many days of trying to upgrade gentoo with "emerge -pU world" with out success while compiling QT. The answer was in the error message on screen but did not see it straight away. I was using nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx, a simple "opengl-update xfree" to switch the glx lib and the complie went smoothly, now must remember to switch back to the nvidia glx with "opengl-update nvidia"
Hope this helps, I missed this simple mistake for days... _________________ Bicycle-repairman |

I emerged Qt with nvidia as current opengl implementation many times. There should be no error. Qt works and compiles fine with nvidia's opengl. If the ebuild fails let the Gentoo developers know about it via https://bugs.gentoo.org (but then you should include the exact error message), otherwise they can't fix it. |
