I'm not sure if I broke something, or it was broken when I got there :)
Code:

houdini@bill houdini $ sudo emerge busybox

Right, so, what happened? the busybox 0.60
.2 build works ok (he says as it builds in the background).

F*ck, it doesn't have what I downloaded it for, anyway :)

The download file couldn't be found on ibiblio's servers. Try from another mirror.

BUT, after it couldn't find it on the main mirror, it changed to another one, attempted to download, didn't get a error msg but the download failed.

I'd try the exact same command again :)

Not exactly. Look a little closer at the second download attempt and you'll see:

Code:
No such file `busybox-0.60.3.tar.gz'.

One is an HTTP error message, the other one is an FTP error message. They both say the same thing, however: File Not Found.

my bad :), see the latest file there is busybox-0.60.2.tar.gz

I'd suggest going to the main site for busybox, downloading the busybox-0.60.3.tar.gz file and putting it in distfiles :)
