Is there a command that I can type at the console that will give me a list of available X sessions?
To elaborate a little - I have a server that several people ssh to and run X apps from. I want to use xdpyinfo to get the display properties for each of their sessions. Because of the large geographical area over which these terminals are spread, it would be for more practical for me to do this locally.
Is there anyway to get such a list? _________________ Dermot

There's probably a more elegant solution than this but you could try:
