|
|
I have a toshiba satellite 5000-105 with an integrated french keyboard.
Right to the spacebar is the key "<>" then next to it, the key ALT-GR allowing access to extra special characters such as, the most useful, the pipe '|'.
I can't get this key to behave as it should...
My Xfree86config file declares a 105 keys and french layout.
Does anyone know how I should modify this file to get it working?
Thank you all. |

I had a problem with alt gr on a french toshiba laptop and had to set
Code: | Option "XkbModel" "pc102" |
Else maybe it's defined as the Meta key...
Good luck ! _________________ -- Quxy |

Thank you for your tip, however, that doesn't work. Basically it makes the alt-gr key behave as the shift key..
Unless I missed something in the configuration? |

Another try :
Be sure to not have a
Code: | Option "XkbDisable" |
somewhere as it resolves the toshiba keyboard repetition bug, but prevents keyboards other than english to work properly _________________ -- Quxy |
