hi,
I've compiled my gentoo from stage1 and have just a running system... (but having problem with my hw, I have not optimized the make.conf + had some pbm w/ proc... anyway)...
What I wish to do now, is recompile my whole installation with a decent make.conf:
so will an
do the job ?
NB. my system was built with:
Code: |
bootstrap script
emerge system
emerge (without any options) somepackage

If you want to recomplile your whole system you can use the -e flag:

oh and just thinking about that:
has the use of "pic" flag became obsolete ?!?
I used it on my ol' comp (rc2 install), but I do not see it anymore in rc4 USE listing ??? |
