installed pppconfig now howto dila?

I came from debian!

I loved pppconfig and related tools for dialing in debian. Seeing pppconfig in gentoo packages list I become really glad of it. But there is no pon, poff, plog ...
I wonder How can I dial if I want to use pppconfig for cinfiguring my ppp?

don't know pppconfig, but you can try wvdial. it has a command wvdialconf to set up your modem

after you did an "emerge wvdial"

type "wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf"

edit "/etc/wvdial.conf" to set up your ISP/login details.

run "wvdial"
