I'm using gentoo in a firewall server. Every day at 6 o 'clock, I need tell my gentoo to shutdown after 50 more minutes before I go home. I do this from the follow command:

Code:
shutdown -h 50

This should lock the keyboard, but it remains funcional, everyone who gives a "ctrl+c" in the keyboard gains root access to the machine.

Why this is happining, do I need to configure some parameter to this lock works?
