If you are desperate enough to be running 0.0.8, you have no reason to upgrade. If you tried to compile it and it didn't configure, THAT is what is fixed.


For everyone else, Darimasen is a file manager that seperates directory navigation from other per-file functions. It is compatible with ROX-Filers' run actions. It will be a while until I consider it any more than a toy (as opposed to a serious FM, like Nautilus of Rox or Konqueror).


If you might want to help, I am looking for a layer above gnome-vfsmm, designed for easy portability to Windows. I'd suggest a good knowledge of C++, and being able to read a majority of the code in SVN. Let me know if you're interested.
