Hi
i posted ages ago about mounting my windows shares, i got the write command but i get errors and i cant make head nor tail of it
anyone any ideas?

# mount -t smbfs -o username=Administrator,password=******** //192.168.0.1/Downloads /mnt/winshare

Im trying it as root because as far as i can tell to do it by a user ive gotta add aline to my fstab right?

There isn't a firewall on 192.168.0.1 blocking access to the share, is there?
As far as your syntax, it is correct. |

actually thats apoint, i have actually got a personal firewall on the windows machine, thing is thou my net connection is routed thou the windows box and i connect to the net on my linux laptop thou that, ill try turning the firewall off thou
