|
|
Hi,
I bought my first sun station (Ultra60), and i have a problem with my keymap.
I don't yet use xorg.
History:
Keymap was good.
I emerged the sparc kernel when i install gentoo. Then i download the 2.6.13 vanilla kernel.
I configure and compile it.
I emerged udev
I do all thing i have to do after compiling a new kernel
then i reboot.
Now, i had a problem: the keymap is not the good keymap, so i can't do anything!
The keymap in /etc/rc.conf/keymaps was "sunkeymap"
I try with "sunkeymap" and "sunt5-us"
Where does it come from? And what can i solve it?
Thanks! |

With kernel 2.6, we have to set "KEYMAP="us" |

I had this exact same problem -- after I upgrade to kernel 2.6, my console keyboard wasn't working.
Thanks for posting the solution! |
