What package is nm contained in?
I' am still trying to track the problem I have compiling source that relies on libtool and autoconf (kde, xmms) I have tried several versions of both libtools and autoconf but alas no combination stable versions will solve the problem.
I have tried to accept_keyword="~x86" and emerge the masked version of libtools but that doesnt work either.
I am assuming that most people can still comiple so I must have a broken combination of these sys-dev ebuilds. Anyone have any thoughts on what versions appear to work? or where I can get nm seperately? |

qpkg is reporting that sys-devel/binutils owns it on my system. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

Code: |
aja@gen2%where nm
/usr/bin/nm
aja@gen2%qpkg -f /usr/bin/nm
sys-devel/binutils *
|
So, its sys-devel/binutils |

Well thankyou again, it seems as though part of my binutils was corrupt, and hence I couldnt compile some apps. |
