it took me a while but i finially got dual monitors working with my GeForce3 and an old pos SiS card. I am guessing the SiS is trying to take the glx because every time i run some sort of GL program i get:

[ 03:38:50 :: ribo$israfel :: ~ ] glxgears
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual
[ 03:38:53 :: ribo$israfel :: ~ ]

The XF86Config worked fine before with just one monitor configured. I have tried the obvious: remergeing nvidia-glx and nvidia-kernel, opengl-update nvidia, double checked the existance of Load "glx". If anyone has any clues please help :)

Code:

here is my Xf86Config:

heh well i figured it out. the new nvidia drivers (4349) do not allow GLX to work with dual vid cards/monitors. downgraded to 4191 and it all worked perfectly. odd...
