Currently the FreeBSD project is working on porting launchd to FreeBSD, the problem is with the license more so then porting it. The license is the Apple Public Source license, which is GPL-incompatiable. _________________ System: predatorbox

So are they other than porting it, making it from scratch but compatible? or? _________________ Macbook Pro 15"

There simply porting it over as far as I know, they are attempting to get apple to relicense it under there BSD license, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon. _________________ System: predatorbox
