Python Video Games

Hi guys... I am going to be writing a game in Python (well, i actually want to write the game, not muss with pointers) and i was curious if anyone has had any experience with any of the GUI bindings for Python. I am currently investigating wxPython, and it's fairly similar to Swing from what I can tell... Anyways, has anyone else made a (2D for now, 3D laters) playable game in Python?

Has anyone used PyGame / PyUI / Soya3D?

Any suggestions?
