I have Gentoo and Fluxbox working ok (love 'em both!), but I'd like to patch Fluxbox up with the patch on the Fluxbox site. All the docs I've seen talk about untarring the source files then patching that. My questions: I just installed Fluxbox about 3 days ago - is this patched or unpatched in the ebuild? How can I tell? Do I need to patch it, and if so, does patching the source work properly for Fluxbox/Gentoo? Do I need to reinstall Fluxbox (from the source in /usr/portage/distfiles) after that? Sorry for all the questions, I've read everything I can find online and nothing seems to address this particular problem. I've never patched anything before and I really don't want to screw up my box that took sooooo long to get just how I like it.
Thanks for any help or guidance on this.

Cool. I ran across that earlier..... thanks for the reply, and keep up the good work. I've used every Linux distro there is, and Gentoo is hands-down the best.
