Hi
I have installed looking glass (with tutorial form l.g. page).
It is quite fast in lg3d-dev mode but is slow as hell in lg3d-session mode.
The question is why???
i have gentoo 2005.1 with kernel 2.6.12-r6 with the newest ati-drivers (in glxgears 1850 frames installed so opengl-wrks)and xorg (the newest stable from portage)
What can cause the problem?? |

Hi.
When you run lg3d-dev you run it in a window whit the standard X server.
Then it can use the glx. But in session it starts it's own server. And i think there
is something with the glx path that it don't get loaded. Been some time since i tryed to get it
running. But i had no acceleration on the session.
Check the looking glass forum for info. |
