Hi there...
I have a little buggy thing over here...
I installed Gnome 2 and everything works well. After that, I emerged xmms, evolution and gaim. Those ebuilds requires some gnome's 1.4 lib. When I start Gnome back, I got Gnome 1.4 showing up. I tought that re-emerging gnome 2 would do the trick: Wrong.
gnome-base/gnome-core [ B ] (Block).
I can I fix this?

the way I would do it is kinda long timewise, but it probably would fix it.
I'd unmerge the gnome-core, then unmerge xmms just to be safe...
then I'd do

USE="-gnome -gnome-libs" emerge xmms
|
afterwards you can merge the newer gnome stuff in.
Just to be safe, what does everyone else think about this solution? |
