this is what i get when trying to launch some application with wine or winex

ok i dont know what did i do.. but wine works now..
xset error remains.. but will just ignore it  |

I get exactly the same message running winex, trying to open any windows binary. I noticed that there are similar threads with the same problem, but the only solution mentioned so far involves downgrading glibc.
I wonder -- has anyone else managed to find a fix for this? It's really very annoying, and I don't want to have to switch back to Xfree4.2 |

| ok the solution was simply to delete webdings font from truetype fonts dir.. |
