| Is it possible to get gpm to display characters properly when the console is in unicode mode? The highlighting cursor displays a Ä instead of blank when the cursor is sitting on a blank and, when the cursor is sitting on a character, the highlighted character is always some bizarre composed character. I can cut and paste all ascii, but it seems that gpm is not unicode-friendly. Anyone else notice this? |

| ok i found out what's going on -- it seems that when you use a unicode console font with many glyphs, gpm displays weirdness. it's tolerable, i suppose, but i wish there was better support for unicode in gpm. |
