Tyan released an updated bios for the Tyan Thunder K8W board (S2885).

Release date is: 2/14/05

* Add Dx stepping CPU support
* Add Ex stepping CPU support
* Correct Voltage display info in HW monitor page.
* Add beep code for no memory error
* Open Floppy drive B setup option.
* Update Silicon Image Oprom to v5.048 to resolve some

* Latest CPU/Chipset Errata updates



Note: I haven't updated to it yet. I kinda blew up my xorg stuff so I'm trying to get that working first ;-)

Tyan has released another BIOS update dated 06/10/05

Haven't updated to it yet, so I can't comment on it.

The BIOS is working on my system. Though I do wonder why they bothered adding powernow support when afaik Opterons can't do it.
