Maybe my search was incorrectly formed or I'm blind, but I cannot seem to find anything on this and thought you knowledgeable folks might have an answer.

I am running Postfix and have registered an account with DynDNS. I want to be able to send email to a local user account through the DynDNS address.

1. Is this even possible?
2. What changes to /etc/postfix/main.cf need to be made?

did you try this:
# INTERNET HOST AND DOMAIN NAMES
#
# The myhostname parameter specifies the internet hostname of this
# mail system. The default is to use the fully-qualified domain name
# from gethostname(). $myhostname is used as a default value for many
# other configuration parameters.
#
myhostname = domain.dyndns.com

???

Just tried that. Still no dice.

S'okay, though. It's not essential and I think I'm just gonna let it go for now. It was more to see how it would be done.

It could also be a port forwarding problem on my router, too.

When I get home, I'll investigate it more.
