Hi,
i have a external network device (teledate fast ethernet usb) and i have some problem making it work. The usb device seems not to be
recognized, even though it is supported (according to linux-usb.org).
I think i am missing some kernel modules. Running lsusb i get the
following message :

Unknown line at line 1809
Duplicate HUT Usage Spec at line 2650
cannot open /proc/bus/usb, No such file or directory (2)

What options do i have to enable when building the kernel
so the usb device finally works.

Thanks in advance,

Andy

It seems that you have not enabled the USB Device File System support built in. You need that to open /proc/bus/usb.

Hope this helps.
