Code:

ws1 ~ # emerge -p amarok

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

Calculating dependencies ...done!
[ebuild  N    ] media-libs/taglib-1.3.1
[ebuild  N    ] media-libs/musicbrainz-2.1.1
[ebuild  N    ] media-libs/tunepimp-0.3.0-r1
[ebuild  NS   ] kde-base/kdelibs-3.3.2-r9
[ebuild  N    ] kde-base/kdebase-3.3.2-r2
[ebuild  N    ] media-sound/vorbis-tools-1.0.1
[ebuild  N    ] kde-base/kdemultimedia-3.3.2
[ebuild  N    ] media-sound/amarok-1.2.4

is there a way to install amarok with kde 3.4.1?

Can you show output of
Code:
emerge -pv amarok

Depending on your USE flags, by using the split KDE ebuilsd you probably would only need to install kdelibs.

You have splitted ebuilds? Tell, if this topic didnt help - A lot of blocking while trying to emerge amarok...
I think that adding
Code:
kde-base/kdemultimedia-arts
kde-base/akode
to your package.keywords will solve it.
