cdr installion problem

hi, im new to gentoo i've only been using it for about a week, and i'm having a problem installing a program for my cdr. I was planing on using cdrx or gtoaster, but it wont compile properly because it says i need oggtst well itried to compile oggtst but i get this error message


ERROR: media-sound/oggtst-0.0 failed.

!!! (no error message)


I also get the same error message when i try to compile gtoaster does anyone know what the problem is and can u help with it???

The only thing I can think of since there are no error messages is that ebuilds will fail if your optimizations are set too high. That's just a stab in the dark though without more info.
