Hello,
This post is somewhat related to the following thread.
I tried to use Latex (tetex) with CJK-latex to write a document that contains some Chinese characters. Since the ebuild for CJK-latex is not 100% correct/complete, one can only write Chinese characters with point size 10 (and i've given up hope to see the ebuild fixed any time in the near future).
I get the impression that not many people are using CJK-latex? So i wonder which programs you use for writing Chinese. Or are there some Tex-versions which are specifically modified to typeset Chinese/Japanese, and most people are using this? Or do people use CJK-latex and in that case could you give any hints to get it properly working?

这里有个ebuild，我没有用过，是jackey的。
下面是从sir转过来的。exaos写的。
和以前配置 tetex + cjk-latex 有一点区别的是，不再需要文件 $TEXMFLOCAL/pdftex/config/pdftex.cfg 。tetex 3.0 自动搜索 $TEXMFLOCAL/fonts/map 目录来寻找相应的 map ，搜索 $TEXMFLOCAL/fonts/enc 目录寻找相应的 enc 文件。因此，配置相对简单一些。
1、和从前一样，安装好 cjk-latex
2、同以前一样，用 gbkfonts 生成相应的 tfm 和 enc 等文件。将原先需要拷贝到 $TEXMFLOCAL/dvipdfm/config 等目录下的文件均移动到 $TEXMFLOCAL/fonts/map 等目录下即可，具体的如下：

dvipdfm/config/*.map --> fonts/map/dvipdfm/*.map
dvips/cjk.map --> fonts/map/dvips/cjk.map
pdftex/config/*.map --> fonts/map/pdftex/*.map
ttf2pk/ttfonts.map --> fonts/map/ttf2pk/ttfonts.map
dvips/chinese/*/*.enc --> fonts/enc/dvips/chinese/*/*.enc
pdftex/enc/* --> fonts/enc/pdftex/*
---
除了 $TEXMFLOCAL/tex/latex/cjk/GB/*.fd 文件之外不再需要修改其它的文件。
3、运行 texhash
4、运行命令：
udpmap --enable Map $TEXMFLOCAL/fonts/map/dvips/cjk.map
udpmap --enable Map $TEXMFLOCAL/fonts/map/dvipdfm/cid-x.map
然后就可以正常使用 CJK-latex 了。
由于 gentoo tetex 自动搜索 ~/texmf 目录，因此没有必要需要将这些内容安装在 /usr/local/share/texmf 之类的目录下。没有 root 权限的用户只要在自己的 ~/texmf 目录下配置即可。
