After I went through all the trouble of installing this freaking thing, now I can't even power on a virtual machine. Yay!
After trying to power on, it just doesn't do anything at all, and I get this system message :
vmware-authd[1834]: The "/usr/lib/vmware/bin/vmware-vmx" process did not start properly. Exit 0x100 |

Turns out it was an issue of badly set permissions, but the general problem of not being able to power on hasn't went away. I was able to for a few times and kept on getting errors, mostly that I didn't have a DGA whatever enabled in X and something about the network setting for the VM. But after I enabled DGA in xorg.conf and rebooted, now nothing happens again, besides a different set of errors.
