I understand that there is already a bug on this, but if I have a question:
If I were to download the source tarball from sunfreeware would I be able
to get it to work on my U10?

You might (and I highly stress might) under the kernel's Solaris binary emulation. However I believe that is broken at current, so it may be a lost cause. |

You can use prelude-nids (and the rest of the prelude framework) for a network intrusion detection sensor (though in future versions of prelude, prelude-nids is being replaced by snort). |
