Basically what I would like to do is have email collected from my multiple POP3 accounts, delivered to my user's accounts on the server (running Gentoo ) then accessible remotely using IMAP (+ Squirrelmail). Is there a guide suitable for this as I'm a bit of a n00b having never done anything like this before. TIA. |

I think the virtual mail guide is a little too much for that you want to do...
just take fetchmail and cyrus- pop and imap servers and you'll be happy (I think ) |

Thanks for the help guys - I've now got a very nice system going with Postfix, Fetchmail and Courier-IMAP. I'm very impressed but one thing I can't figure out is how to sort the emails server-side. I know I can do it in the client, but I'd like them "pre-sorted". Google hasn't come up with anything and I have RTFM'd so can anyone tell me if it's possible and if so point me in the right direction?
Edit: Nm I think I've found my answer (maildrop). |
