I'm not sure at what point this error started to occur, but it might have been when I upgraded to 0.9.1, although I have tried different versions and they all produce the error. I am using the via82xx driver. It worked perfectly before, but now if I try to playback a file, I get this (using aplay):
$ aplay /usr/kde/3.1/share/apps/ktuberling/sounds/en/tuberling.wav
Playing WAVE '/usr/kde/3.1/share/apps/ktuberling/sounds/en/tuberling.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 7419 Hz, Mono
aplay: aplay.c:832: set_params: Assertion `err >= 0' failed.
Aborted by signal Aborted...
xmms freezes/doesn't start, which I assume is due to the same problem.
Anyone have any ideas as to what this might be?
